Overview
PEARS is a non-custodial interface that sources quotes from third-party aggregators and lets users submit transactions from their own wallets on the Base network. We are committed to protecting your privacy while providing a transparent and secure trading experience.
Key Point: PEARS does not custody funds, does not execute trades on behalf of users, and does not require account creation or personal information to use our interface.
Data We Process
- Web Server Logs: IP addresses, user-agent strings, timestamps, and requested URLs for security and performance monitoring
- On-Chain Data: Public wallet addresses when you connect your wallet (this data is already public on the blockchain)
- Error Telemetry: Technical error information to improve service reliability
- Usage Analytics: Anonymized data about page views and user interactions to improve our interface
What We Do NOT Process
- Seed phrases or private keys
- Personal information (name, email, phone, address)
- Custodial balances or transaction details beyond public blockchain data
- Trading history or portfolio information
- KYC/AML documentation
Cookies and Analytics
We use minimal, privacy-focused analytics to understand how users interact with our interface. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes. Essential cookies may be used for:
- Remembering your wallet connection preferences
- Maintaining session state during your visit
- Preventing spam and abuse
Data Retention
- Server Logs: Automatically deleted after 30 days
- Error Reports: Retained for 90 days for debugging purposes
- Analytics Data: Anonymized and retained for up to 1 year to identify long-term usage patterns
Third-Party Services
PEARS integrates with third-party services to provide functionality:
- 0x Protocol: For DEX aggregation and routing (subject to 0x's privacy policy)
- Wallet Providers: Various wallet providers (MetaMask, WalletConnect, etc.) (subject to their respective privacy policies)
- RPC Providers: For blockchain data access (subject to their privacy policies)
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect the limited data we process. However, since we are a non-custodial platform, the security of your funds ultimately depends on your wallet security practices.
